At least I finally tied Tim for ET even though he's completely stock.

That gray car was the one I was talking about with consistent times . That was freakin remarkable. Pretty nice guy also . His name was Paul. I know the tower called him up there for something, not sure for what but didn't see him make any passes after that. Gotta say your vettes run strong and consistent also. Let's try not to get too out of hand bashing each other here. We could possibly learn something from each other. Sorry if I started a shit storm.
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkMan that really sucks...........but that's the coolest thing I've ever seen

T.The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my Track next fix.

I'm done with stick-shifted drag racing after this vehicle.. It's fun on the streets and other courses, but I'm just bored of the launch RPM hunting, worrying about the driveline, the several thousand for a consumable clutch setup that takes a royal pounding on launches, etc.

I only have the 1 garage spot at the moment, but if/when I get a house or more space, I think I'll have a nice peppy (11s) DD that's not dinked around with too much.. and, then my all out race machine with minimal creature comforts..
That way, when I break stuff.. I'm less irritated by it..

thats exactly the direction i'm trying to go in. since i am so close i will just shoot for a 10 seconds pass once and call it quits on the camaro. Then ill start my real project. i just enjoy my camaro too much to really continue down the race car path. its comfortable, great looking, and is fun. So i will keep it as my DD. as of now i have a decent 11 sec DD so i really can't complain. im racing my DD not turning my DD into a race car. so we will see what my next project will be.
