Thanks to Bubbles for setting up today's fun. She also kicked my butt on my last run. Maybe a rematch someday when I learn how to drive.
My days best was my first run like others mentioned they had. 13.3, 105 mph and .103 was my best reaction time I could achieve all day. Good starting point and a lot to improve on, I guess.
Sorry to shit on your parade but I wouldn't be looking at the back of anything if time slips were compared from today. I'll run a heads up race any time to back up my claim. TCG track day is at Byron on Oct. 21st.
well if you were faster than my 4000 lb pig then congrats. as you can see i have nothing to hide, I am building my car for me and the way i like. Yes its fun to be competitive but the only person i am really racing is myself and figuring out a way to always beat myself and thats it. I'll race for fun anytime but I have nothing to hide and nothing to prove. I don't just give up on projects either because things get in the way i continue them. Son once again if you ran faster congrats. But I ran my best time today and am happy. So my parade is marching on because i achieved my goal of the day.
And if you can't break a 13 maybe stay out of the argument. Just saying.
i didnt know there was an argument J A

Its all the launch. The clutch i put it is like a light switch so finding that right RPM is very touchy. I was playing around with different ranges today and by best pass was a 3200 rpm launch. I had a couple bog and a couple spin so i have a really good idea where the sweet spot is.
so now priz backsup member who were banned whats up with that

Well said. I can always go out an buy something faster as the dark side has . I don't have a problem even if your faster than my stock 4155 lb car ( that's with my big rear in it). But when someone has a car that you guys hate, as in 5th gens, and was within 4 tenths of a sec in four passes and you continue to make excuses as in "well he has over 700 to the rear wheels", that's just crying in your milk and cookies. So what he had that much power he beat you with bracket car results with probably the same or less money that you have in the Vette. To get that heavy ass car down the track And be that consistent , that fast ,was pretty damn impressive. Just admit it

Man that really sucks...........but that's the coolest thing I've ever seen
Yes a very huge drop on one pass. I just find it odd that a car can 60' 1/10 better and pick up 7/10 of a second ET and never come remotely close to backing it up. I'm not the one starting shit here, I have nothing to prove. I'm just playing Devil's advocate. If all of you guys want to hang your hats on 80/1000ths of a second with no passes to back it up them congrats. That gray car was moving, 700 rwhp?
Well today was awesome!! thanks BLACKHAWK on the tip really helped out. started from a 15.3 for my first time to a 14.62. Oh did that feel good. getting farther and farther from getting rid of my camaro...
BTW, who is crying about anything? I set a PB today for myself and had a fun day. The car is pretty damn consistent and it has taken a very short mod list to get there. I am very happy with my car as everyone else here seems to be. Some of you guys should go back to wax and LED's and leave the racing discussion to people who know what they're talking about.
