We want to make World of Wheels an official outing. What day is better for everyone, Saturday or Sunday? Please let us know by Monday. You could go to lunch or something also. Awards are Saturday night but I'm not sure what time.

My wife and I are planning to drive up on Saturday for a little while. I promised her a few other stops in Chicago while we are there so not sure how long we can stay at WOW. If I had to guess, we would be there from approximately 11-3ish. Our plans are still up in the air though.

We are participating in the club contest representing C5G at world of wheels as well as individually. I personally think it would be very beneficial for the Club and all its members to have a large turnout and impact at an event like this. I believe the people that put on the show and participate in the show are big car people and all the kinds of people that can help the club and it's members in many ways. Who knows you could be exposed to maybe new sponsors, or car show participants for your own shows. Cool new venders and products, new friends,new club members, other clubs to be friends with, other clubs to be rivals with. The list goes on and on. I would suggest someone organizing some sort of official event wearing C5G colors to make a positive impact for C5G at this show to let people know who we are in our community.
I have heard of other clubs pushing for them to have large turnouts. To what level I do not know. I think our club had an event for the auto show. This is the biggest car show around here it's fun easier to get to than the auto show and these people and the relationships can help the club so hey why not?Last edited by G-Man; 02-25-2012, 02:27 PM.G-MANComment

Any suggestions on getting tickets? The WOW site says $18 at the door, ot $16 at O'Reilly Auto Parts. We have an OAP in my town, but not sure they would have tickets. Are there any other places or reduced price tickets available?
Not a cheap date for the wife and I with gas $4 a gallon.
