  • Also, if we have a good number of cars, it's best to meet up past the traffic lights before rolling into the Hooter's lot. Dean Drive is a long street (about a 1/4 mile) on the right, just past Perryville Road down 20. Also, we want to come in the back way so as not to need to turn left across inbound traffic.

    • I think crossing Argus from Deane is the best way to go. We always get stuck in traffic trying to make that left turn off of Argus.

May I suggest that we enter the lot from the second back entrance though as that will help alleviate street back ups, help make parking go more smoothly and let us do a parade lap in front of the entrance for the girls.

      • All this planning is great, but the leader always takes the wrong turn in the end. With this many cars, I would just make sure everyone has directions and head on out. Of course, I'm not one to plod along in a caravan on the highway.

WHATEVER ! maybe I like to take the wrong turn to extend the cruise a little longer!

Besides, no one see us coming in the back way, I like to let the town know were there and clog up there streets with a sea of Camaros, LOL

            • Undecided which point yet, Randall Rd. is closer for me, but I have a GoPro, so It my be easier setup by driving to Itasca. Also, I will have my $30 to renew dues and Tony, if you have any stut flags for that Sunday, I would like to purchase one.

                • If anyone from south wants to cruise up maybe we can meet somewhere. Having over 50 cars could be a problem trying to keep together. Is there anyway we could use the center lane so that we don't have to deal with on and off ramps? Or maybe take 2 lanes and run side by side, I don't know but this just seems like a lot to keep together.

Don't worry about a thing, we have done this before . We can't take up two lanes on a two lane highway we will get a ticket for sure!

What We need is 15 people who are aggressive drivers to volunteer to be in the back of the line. Drivers who are not afraid to push it after they get caught at a light.

We always hold the line back when members get caught at a light to allow them to catch up, which means that members cannot get impatient if we have to slow it down from time to time to allow for that. we are all in this together and they have to respect the need to keep the group together as much of the trip as possible.

on and off ramps are handled real easy . When you have someone that has pulled into the line from a ramp, let them move to the left lane. If they don't, put your flashers on and slow to 50 and they will get the idea and move, then remember to turn them off again
