I updated it, still waiting on one possible last bit of info from Alex (GM VP of Marketing) but as it stand right now we will be doing something in the upcoming spring roll out with GM. He is contacting one other dealer group to double check and see if there is something we can jump on board with but as of 7:45 am this morning (my long awaited followup call) nothing yet. I will post more when I get details... PS I told him about the incredible members and cars we had here and he seemed excited and looking forward to building a long happy tight relationship with C5G! We may have more participation for a GM event in the spring, when more members have their cars out. (those that are afraid of the snow )

Is there a leave time from Honey Jam?? I will not be able to make breakfast because of work. But should be able to leave from Honey Jam with the group. Current forecast 39 and sunny. I encourage everyone to try and make this event, do it for the kids. It's the time of year when you have to put others first. And I look forward to meeting some new members.

How about we meet at the Honey and Jam Cafe at 10:00? If anyone thinks it should be earlier, please chime in. It is about a half hour drive to the track. We can take 53 straight to the track. I will call the restaurant this week and tell them to expect 15 to 20 people. We have about 17 signed up. The track event is from 12-4. If you are unable to go, please let me know ASAP. Thanks

It would be much easier to stay together as a group driving to the track if we take I-55 to I-80 rather than taking Rt. 53 all the way. Rt. 53 has numerous stop lights and we would probably get separated. Also not sure about going through downtown Joliet. This is just a suggestion. What do others think?

Yeah, that's a long way on 53.

I agree 53 with a group would be hard, I often go to the track that way. But not very good with a group.

Ok. I have shots for my back/neck rescheduled for 8am sat. I'm going to have to meet at honey n jam. I won't be moving too fast so I prolly won't catch our aurora/ naper meet point. But I'll be there and hold out as long as my pain threshold allows
