I know, but everyone wants to know for sure so that they can plan for the day. When will she know? We can't wait til the last minute. If we are going to breakfast, the restaurant needs to know. She needs to know we can't wait to the last minute for things, we are to big of a group for that.

It had not been finalized that was to come with the followup call I was expecting Monday that would have altered the times, meet up points ect. But as Kathy pointed out, it can't wait. It's cool... We will go with the meet points and set up that she planned and posted because I couldn't get it all ironed out on a timeline that was suitable to plan around. Just thought it would be great exposure and what not for us as a club, the car, and the chance to network with GM & Chevy for the future. Win some, lose some. It is what it is.

I can certainly understand not waiting until the last minute to plan, that never works. What I do know is that one day would not affect many, in regards to planning, especially since there was a request made, and a follow up was apparently scheduled. I agree with Bubbles, this snafu could reflect badly on us with GM, simply because we are impatient. Shoot even one or 3 days notice to the restaurant would be good, for 15 people or so, especially for HoneyJam... that place is HUGE

I vote that if GM is offering us to participate in something, we had better do it, for the betterment of our club. --shoot we could perhaps even get to drive around the track???

I am all for getting things in place as soon as possible, but if we KNOW that there are plans in the works, and a follow up SCHEDULED there is not much reason to rush and make other plans. - to do so certainly makes us seem like an awfully unprofessional group, and I know we are not that.

How about we meet at the Honey and Jam Cafe at 10:00? If anyone thinks it should be earlier, please chime in. It is about a half hour drive to the track. We can take 53 straight to the track. I will call the restaurant this week and tell them to expect 15 to 20 people. We have about 17 signed up. The track event is from 12-4. If you are unable to go, please let me know ASAP. Thanks
