            • I see that Photobucket downsampled the pics. Let me know if anyone wants the original, hi-res versions.

                    • Anyone else think the track was extremely slippery? Spin city

Your cars all looked really nice

                      • The right lane was not great, but the left was in good shape. I cut a 1.6 60ft, I think that's proof the track was prepped well enough.

Yeah...you guys didn't seem to have much trouble. Think I just need to learn how to drive.

                          • Thanks Heather, Awesome day.

If you missed today, thank you because you made more room for the rest of us. It was like hot lapping all day.

                            Great pix Tony.

Everyone that made it up, thanks. It was a great time.

We could have had better weather but oh well.

                            T.

PS. If I missed anyone I apologize, but thanks.
The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my Track next fix.

I had a great time, cool meeting everyone! The track prep was terrible like I figured though, it's ok if you have DRs but no go on street tires! My best 60 was a 2.16 I can cut 1.9s on these tires when the track is good. I suggest Byron next time if you guys want to run some good numbers.
                              12.39 @ 115.6 Da corrected 12.13 @ 118, on stock tires!

This was only my third time racing at a track. My 60' , 1/8 speed/trap, 1/4 speed/trap were all worse than last year, and I have another 50+whp. Think it is just too much power for a fwd car on street tires. Still pretty fun though. Oh, and that teal color looks really nice. Don't think I have ever seen that color in person before.
