I noticed a little to late that people were taping their rear panels before racing to keep the rubber off the paint, so does anyone know the best way to get the rubbber off of the paint on the rear quarters?

That silver 05-06 gto just pulled along side us just north of the IL border. Cruising about 60mph and tried to get me to race him. He stuck with it for about a mile. Then nailed it and took off.

Had a blast today ! Whole lot different than driving my prostreeter. Takes alot of finesse to get her down the track without killing the tires. Best time was 13.22 @ 109 and smoken the tires every shift ! I can see 12's in the near future. Impress with the turnout. 5th gen convert running mid 11's was impressive. Oh and Randys mad driving skills taught me a few things. Again a great day indeed. Thanks Dave and Kathy for use of the helmet for my kid. He loved going down the track with his ole man!

Thanks for setting this up. I had a blast for my first official club event. I was pretty happy with my 12.43, I think after adjusting my shift points and actually getting the car to stick when I launch it I'll be real happy. Not bad for a bolt on auto.
