I'm right there with you... Then after the axles, it's the output shaft, the clutch, tranny internals themselves, ring/pinion, etc.. It's a never ending thought process of "will this launch explodiate my driveline."

Yeah, sometimes I wish I took the route you did to be able to manage the power better. Jumping from about 300ft/lbs to over 600 ft/lbs in the matter of a couple 100 rpm when they spool makes it more difficult. I should be able to launch decent because the turboes aren't spooled at launch, but the top end of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd always breaks the tires loose.

I am running very large turbos which gives you more top end power. But what that does is take longer for them to build boost up. So depending on temperature my turbos are usually fully spooled between 3500-4000 rpm. That means from 0-3500rpm my car will almost be pushing stock power, but as soon as the turbos spool I have over 600+hp and 600+ft/lbs tq.
A two step allows you to run 2 different amount of boost through different gears but I'm only running 8-9 lbs. So it would be difficult to monitor that in the same way. I do have a boost controller which i will be trying different boost levels to help with traction. But it's hard when you always want to go faster lol

It wasn't shine juice, but bug juice. Anyway, when people are always taking pics of your ride, you've got to keep up appearances.2014 mustang gt 5.0
