I've had some great feedback regarding the cruise so far. Please keep your suggestions coming as this is the first cruise I've put together and all feedback is welcome.
It was brought to my attention that some people will be coming from a distance. While they would want to visit Jelly Belly and Lake Geneva, they may not be interested in the extended cruise because of the original distance travelling up to Wisconsin. My original intent of the cruise was that the drive was the focal point and that Jelly Belly and Lake Geneva were bonus destinations. But I totally see the point that some might want to reduce their total drive time a bit.
I would love to get as many members and associates as possible included so I believe I have a great solution. Simply, we would all still meet at Jelly Belly at 9:00am. Then we could have 2 cruise groups. The country cruise group would leave Jelly Belly first and arrive at a Lyons, WI rendezvous point at about 12:15pm. The more direct group would leave Jelly Belly a short while after and make a stop at the Brat Stop for souvenirs and stuff. They would then depart the Brat Stop and rendezvous in Lyons at 12:15pm. From there we would all regroup and take the short, final section of the cruise together and roll into Lake Geneva en masse. You really don’t want to miss this last section.
What's everyone think?
