A fantastic time !!! Thankyou for any of you who made this happen. That place was FULL of cars. WOW. what a great time and great weather. Thankyou GOD for answering my prayers. GOD BLESS ALL

I spoke to Doug from the Morris Lions club & he ordered the club participation trophy for our club. He apologized repeatedly & said he wants to make this right. He advised me that next year the judging will be documented per entry to verify accuracy. Doug said he wanted to make the trophy personalized for the club, so the plate will have "Chicago 5th Generation Camaro Club". He said it should be ready in 1-2 weeks.

So who's going to build the trophy case?

I don't think we congratulated everyone because we all won! Who did their burnouts? Dave said whoever won a trophy does a burnout when they leave.

Dave's off for 2 weeks he said he could do it. It will keep him busy for a day or so. How big and what kind of wood? He is suggesting acrylic with an alarm so that wandering hands can not remove it from the case. LOL

Only been there once, sorry guys. We need to get all of us back together so that we can take a group picture with the trophy. I'm guessing that they want us back next year since it is going to have our club name on it. We still need to show up with double what we had though.

As it stands right now I see it as 2-1...

It's simple math, a $10 trophy to get 20+ cars at $10 to $15 bucks each back next year.

All this talk of trophies.... I've been meaning to ask..

Are there any plans to have trophies for racing events like we do for club shows? Just to make it fair, there could be both "Top Dog" in each of V6 and V8 -- further broken in to Auto/Manual if you'd like and then a bracket event that everyone could compete in --- that way, it's not just a matter of who has the most money for mods to go the fastest... there's room for someone running 15s to dial in and beat someone running 11s that's inconsistent.

Just curious, since some of us spend most/all money on "go fast" parts and have little room to really compete in a show that's mostly about aesthetics.
