  • Leaving the South Holland Oasis at 9 o'clock. I'll let those that were going to meet me in Kenosha know so we can plan our travel time to get there beforehand. What radio channel will we be using?

    • Steve, are you going to be our travel coordinator, or to we need to appoint a travel coordinator?

      • We stop at the duty free store after leaving Grand Rapids. Before the duty free store, we top off the tanks....once you go in the DFS, you have to go across the border....

We arrived about 8PM last year.... NO stops...not even in Lansing. (Lansing area folks need to watch for us rolling through - no stops planned.....

When we all caravaned through the border crossing, we waiting a bit at the first exit, and exit after that, a furniture store....to allow those getting searched a chance to catch up.

Then its pedal down through Toronto to Oshawa

Steve, we should check out if the hotel has a hose and water supply, so we can wash our LLT's. I don't know if anyone has set up wash stations, but I like to detail my car myself.
The Toronto Traffic wasn't bad last year....left lane in 8 lanes of traffic...

The quality inn (BBOMG hotel) does not have a hose...but there was a car wash close by....

Steve, the car is at Libertyville Chevy right now.....before I go any farther, let me give these guys a shout out. The place is stellar....if any of you have any service needs, I strongly suggest you look into this place.

Best case I'll have the car back by Friday, worst case early next week....so either way I should be good for the trip!

                            • Steve, we'll miss you and your car!

That being said, I am going to be coordinating with the other groups that we intend to meet up with on the way, etc in Steve's absence

                              • I figured we should have a check list for the trip.

                                1) Passport, forget that and forget making it to the factory
                                2) Receipt for banquet
                                3) Radios

Anybody think of anything else? I sent an email about the tent, I hope to hear back soon.
