Boys and girls, PLEASE sign up for GRACELAND, we really need more people, we have to have ten cars for sure to qualify for the discounts and we should be able to get ten people for a short cruise like this, Its one weekend, there in a nine hours, back in a nine hours and two nights, one day to have a great time. I really thought I would get a better response on this. I would like to book the hotel rooms by the end on January so we can all be close, will be more fun that way I think. Its a little gasoline, two hotel nites and some scratch for spending money, whats the problem boys and girls, lol

I know things are tight for everyone, But in retrospect, we all probably spend money foolishly on other stuff we dont need, this will be a memorable experience to look back on.

Hey Boys and Girls Getting ready to book our rooms, we could use three more cars on this trip to make it an even ten to start out with, Im sure we will pick up some more at the last minute, and I think we may get a few from Camaro 5 as well. It would be a blast if we could call up there and tell them UH Yeah C5G wants to book half of the top floor in your Heartbreak Hotel, and yeah baby will take the elvis suite too.

Tomorrow afternoon or Thursday I will be reserving rooms at the HOTEL, When I do I will post the rates and phone numbers and names of who you should talk to at the hotel. I will try and place a hold on several rooms adjacent on the same floor and then it will be up to each of you to promptly call the Hotel if a deposit is needed on your room. I will also be reserving a group tour of the Graceland Home for 4-30, early Saturday. Again there may be a deposit on the group tour as well and I will relay all that to you tomorrow afternoon or thursday. My assistant and I will be working on this tomorrow. We will also be making reservations for the restaurant on Saturday night (Rib Joint) and then start checking into places of interest on Beel street. Start checking back here on this thread more often for updates.

We will be requesting a tour for first thing in the morning when they open so to allow other time to look at other Museums like Sun records or Staxx in late afternoon which I am looking into as well.

Our dinner reservation will be made for Saturday Night, 6:30 p.m. at the world famous Rendezvous rib restaurant, Memphis, just 10 minutes from Graceland, you can check out their websit if you like, The price for a Slab of Ribs is $17.95.

Heartbreak Hotel is one of the more inexpensive hotels in the area compared to the Westin and others that run in excess of 230.oo a night. You can also check out Heartbreak Hotel and see the rooms and their rates on the Internet site @112.00 plus a night

I have made arrangements at the heartbreak hotel. At first the rates they quoted today were much higher because their is a music fest starting inmemphis that weekend

You will need to place a deposit for one night with a credit card.

Our Tour is reserved for 9:00 Saturday Morn. That should give us plenty of time to check out some other stuff in downtown memphis.

I will start working on other attractions and prices and have more info on that tomorrow. My thoughts are that sun records and Stacks Museum seem to be pretty popular but I will review that in the next few days.

I have been advised by the hotel that their parking garage has a gate and that they have a guard 24/7 in the gate booth. I will be looking at that issue more carefully for us.
