Hey Boys and Girls ITS A CRUISE TO MORRIS FOR A HUGE SHOW
So Its a C5G Official event!!

24th Annual Fall Classic Car Show

Kathy63 said this show is HUGE, Hundreds of cars in past years You can pre-register for the $10 but for some reason the paypal is not working. You can mail a check made out to Morris lions club for $10 and he will give it a few days past the 19th of this month because Kathy63 told him about our club going. Mail payment to: Doug Linn, 503 Vine Street, Morris Il. 60450. We do not need to register as a club but we do need to show up together so that we can park together. You need to include your name, address, make, model, year and class #. Kathy was told our Camaro's are eligible for 2 classes. Either #13 2001-present stock or #19 1989- present modified. They do not specify what is considered mods. Were gonna check on that cause I think we should be eligible for some more classes listed below.
Also, just to give you and idea on how big it is the first 650 show cars get dash plaques.

Hey Kathy I think we need to double check those classifications, Im going to call up there cause I think we should have a few more fits then that, Some of our guys with their superchargers may fit a different class and others with a bunch of cosmetic mods may also fit a different class, and I might even try the special interest class.

we could do a 2 hour go/no go for the folks like you far south. I think that would be wise. But weather varies from South to north ect so I think it should be a 2 hour go/no-go for the location of the meet if that can be determined which it probably can in each instance with a simple phone call. Sorry about today kid, I phoned Tony and told him to shut it down when I got dumped on at 10:00 in St Charles. I knew it was a no-go for sure at that point. Most of us I know wont come out in the rain if we have to start out in the rain, getting caught in it later in the day is a different story but to start out when its raining just seems like a futile effort with the knowledge that alot of our group wont show up under those circumstances.

I also think SUnday we will get more people, alot of people work on saturday, I know the bears play on Sunday but some days they dont play until late and after a few games the interest in the bears will wade again when everyone sees them for what their worth, lol unless they get rid of their coach of course. lol

I think last year it was from 1986 to present. We still took first place in the class. Corvette and Mustang do have a few classes of their own, but we still beat them.

You can go on to their website: morrislionsclub.com and you can look at the flyer which shows all the classes. You have to look at the back side of the flyer. You can also print it and send it in with your check.

YES thats always been a problem at shows, some consider mods as engine drivetrain mods and other consider mods as cosmetic and drivetrain, it varies show to show. I will get a definition, Most of the time I register as modified or they tell me to register as modified or highly modified because of the number of changes that I made although they are all cosmetic.

You don't see the judges sheet? I see it on mine. Sorry if there is a problem. I will try to remeber to bring it to the mini golf as long as it stays on Sunday the 3. Come on, I know we can get about 30 cars out there. Would be nice to have a club trophy we have enough beautiful cars to get one.
