Depends on how long of a cruise you guys want between golf and pizza. There's a Minigolf place just around the corner over here in Bolingbrook- Wilderness Falls Haven't had the occasion to go, but have heard good things. --There's a Home Run Inn Pizza probably a mile away or so, real close. If that's too close, or wrong pizza joint, Gino's East is aobut 10 minutes away, Lou Malnati's in downtown Naperville is about 15 minutes away

        just an idea

^ Mmmm, Malnati's -- just had some tonight! Yum. Been a while since last time I Mini Golfed -- it's fun once in a while...

PS: I noticed a mini-driving range next to the Tilted Kilt near Rookies in Elgin... ;-)

At the Tilted Kilt, you drive from a porch there into the lake.

Nice but that wont get the family people out with kids so it kind of defeats the idea. But we definitley have to check out tha tilted kilt soon also!

Wildneress falls is pretty nice, has two courses. Homerun Inn and Ginos are good ideas. Lou's would be a pain in the butt to park at, and its always crawling with people.

So lou's is not a good choice, need good parking! this Gino's is OK but service has been meh. Home Run Inn is usually pretty good, and is at the far end of a Jewel so plenty of safe parking.

Not to hijack the idea of mini golf or anything, but what about Whirlyball:
WhirlyBall combines lacrosse, hockey, basketball, and bumper cars in a game of skill coupled with a touch of chance. It's the endorphin inducing answer to your typical outing. A satisfying chef-driven menu, incredible craft beer selection and exciting game options like lasertag and bowling makes fun times a no-brainer!

                        or North Beach:

-- both really fun places and family-compatible... Chicago Indoor Racing is a BLAST too:

Chicago Indoor Racing seems too complicated, unless the site overcomplicates it.

North Ave beach seems cool, and there should be good parking.

^ For the racing, they suit you up, tell you a few things about their rules, etc., then you race -- there are transponders on each cart, giving your full stats for all laps in comparison to others in competition. Everyone should try it at least once. They also have video games, Billiards and other activities...

Supposedly the Addison course is better, and newer than the Buffalo Grove (I've only done this location) one.

North Beach has bowling, Indoor Sand Volleyball and Billiards.
