    Bears Fans Meetup? Preseason Kicks off 8/14!

    Any Bears Bill Swersky's Super Fans here?

    What about a Bears meetup -- a game would be great, but hard to get all the tickets, so maybe Hooters meetup for the games? Preseason Kicks off 8/14! Hopefully Cutler has his insulin situation under control this year and game face on, not to mention the coaching staff (why does Lovie always look like he's on Prozac showing almost no emotion -- certainly no Ditka) -- can we get to the playoffs?

    Any Bears players own 5th Gens?

    Dont mean to burst your bubble but you guys are in a really tough division. I listen to a lot of sports radio and people are projecting ya'll to be 6-10. Though, i do like the bears, 6-10 sounds about right, but i do hope i'm wrong.

        The Bears' division isn't any tougher than the AFC East, NFC East, AFC North, or the NFC south. The bears should be an 8-8 team, but 6-10 isn't out of the question. Just because Mike and Mike picked them at 6-10 doesn't make it gospel. They'll beat the packers in one of the games, and usually steal one from the vikings too. We do have a rough out of conference schedule though, pulling the Jets and Pats.

        A lot will depend on how much havoc peppers can create, and whether tommie harris is back to form. That line could be dominant, and help return that defense back to a top 10 caliber. If that doesn't materialize, the secondary will get picked apart again, and 6-10 will be likely outcome (or worse).

          I agree with most of the things you mentions above and on top of that, things look better for ya'll since favre "retired". I think another big factor is going to be Culter b/c i like him as a player but he was complete trash last year. The defense didnt stand a chance because they were always on the field because of all the mistakes Cutler made. Also getting Urlacher should be a big boost.

            Training Camp Cruise anyone?

            Here we can watch the team practice for FREE (parking is FREE too). Gates open one hour prior to the start of all practice sessions... I haven't been there yet, but am considering a venture -- should be interesting to watch.

              We need to do this Peanut Tillman just picked up a Yellow SS from Phillips yesterday!!!

              I say we look at the schedule and try to bring a few 5thgens in!

              Word is that he is doing autograph session very soon at the dealer. As soon as i find out the date I'll post it up.

                      I should be getting tickets for thios first preseason game, Il find out tomorrow from my source, he gives me a preseason set of four each year,

                      Your right about the coach though, a coach that shows no emotion is never going to get you to win the superbowl, never going to happen, they need a new coach and have needed one for a long time now.

                        how about tony dungy, not much emotion there. I think lovie's biggest mistake was letting rivera go. Hiring his good buddy to run the defense was bad news. Urlacher's decline didn't help either. I don't think we can hang it all on lovie, he did get us to the superbowl, with rex as the qb no less.

                              I like the singletary call, they messed up passing up on him the first time. At least they should have gave the guy a linebacker coaching job.
