I am trying but ifI don't get back from MT Vernon in time I will just go to Rockford. I am trying to come back late Sat or early Sunday. What time does it start Kathy>? Ok so here is our plan - this should put us at the Hooters in Rockford between 5-6 I hope!
August 1 Rock River/Hooters Cruise
Meet @ Super Target at Winfield & Diehl Rd
(28201 Diehl Road Warrenville, IL)
leave at 2:30 pm
Take I-88 west exit on Il Rt 26 West to Dixon
Take Il Rt 2 east follow along the Rock River
Take US 20 east to I-39 north, to I-90 west
Exit onto Business US 20 west (State St)
Turn right (north) on Perryville Rd
Turn left on Argus Dr to Hooters on right.
PM myself or bmoore04 for any other details (like cell numbers etc...)

Okay Im going but all our previous cruises to Rockford Hooters have started off along 355 at the westin hotel or Intersection of Randall Rd and Northwest tollway
your start point is way out of the way, is that the area that your from?
Anyways, Im going to tilted Kilt and then leaving there to cruise up to rockford, I already have a message into tilted kilt to see if that show realistically is going to 5 or any chance of trophies at 4, normally when we cruise to Rockford Hooters we leave @4-5 from the areas described above which it puts us there at 6 and thats when the show starts, why are you going at 2:30, we dont have to worry about space because Gearoge is holding spots for our group. Thats too crazy for me, Ill be taking 294 North from 95th st. (tilted kilt) to Eisenhower west to 355 North to Northwest tollway west , getting on Northwest Tollway by woodfield mall and heads straight out there.
Maybe we can meet up along the way when you get to the expressway just outside of rockfordComment

The cruise sounds like a good idea, but how about a meetup point somewhere in the middle? Since I am not likely to go down by DuPage from Lake, only to come back north again...
Most of you have smartphones with Trapster? We could setup a C5G Caravan on there to see where we all are! We would need to know eachothers Trapster usernames for the caravan feature, there's even messaging built-in. Read about the feature here:
