    Pizza Meetup

    What's up with the Papa Johns love fest over at Camaro5 anyhow? They are planning a Papa Johns meetup, but I think it's the Ford Escort of pizzas -- shouldn't they pick something decent? I never thought their pizza was anything to rave about, and just because a pizza guy had a Camaro back in the day (and relocated it again) doesn't mean squat for the pizza quality.

    Trying to point this out on Camaro5 will get you a temporary site ban -- is it a bunch of high school kids moderating that site? I mean any pizza tastes good when you're a young, right? What a bunch of Pizza Nazis over there! LOL

    That being said, maybe a Camaro pizza meetup at a joint with some GOOD PIZZA would be cool -- Malnatis, Rosatis, Ginos, CPK, etc.

    Don't you remember last year he found his original Camaro and to celebrate this, one day in August last year he gave a free pizza to anyone who drove to Papa Johns in their Camaro.

          No its not the best pizza, but it was cool because every generation camaro was represented at the one I went to. I have even seen one of the girls from them and we were comparing what things we have done to our cars since then.

            LOL. I guess I won't suggest a meet up over here, then! haha!

            eh, no PJ's isn't the most awesome, but it's still pretty good... but I'd prefer HomeRun Inn any day, but that wasn't the point of the meetups.

              Right, but your way up north from us. We went to Hammond last year and then gave it to our daughter who goes to Purdue Cal there.

                  This was all after I compared Papa Johns to the Ford Escort of Pizza and a four-banger, and suggesting some V-8 pizza to match the Camaro instead! :bananen_smilies013:

                    Funny how I have been on different chat boards for many years and have never been banned from one of them let alone ever getting a warning. Some people just like to see if they can create drama.
                    If you don't like the pizza or don't think you would like to participate in the event why even comment in the thread?

                      One of the Adm's is on this board here so please be considerate knowing this event is on 3-4 boards that I know of. He is a Camaro owner and loves the car. Lets respect that and make it a great day no matter where we eat pizza.....

                        What would be the point of a message board where people don't give their feedback? If people never voice their opinion, everyone will assume all are in agreement with the lemming "luv-fest"...

                        The original message boards were BBSs and Usenet Newsgroups -- never a dull moment with participation and matter of fact comments...

                        If people consider pizza discussion drama, I think they need to get out more.

                          I"d like to just state the facts. I'm a guy, therefor I eat any pizza in front of me.
                          That being said, this entire thread has made me hungry. So I think I will kill a extra large extra pepperoni extra thin crust tonight from my local joint. Thanks for the calories to all of you.

                            Now HOT WINGS are a different story, Rockford Hooters has the best wings in IL!!!!!!
