FYI. We're sad to say that Jill and I will not be hosting a cruise to Lake Geneva this year. While this meet and greet is not a replacement for the Lake Geneva cruise, we will make sure to drive some of the same great roads for this event, along with new roads. After all, isn't that what we're supposed to be doing...Finding new roads.

Thank you for all the interest. Now's the time to let me know if you will be attending as we're trying to coordinate special parking at the stops as well.
Hope a lot of you can make it.

    The List:
    1) Xello
    2) TigBaby
    3) SynGreenSS
    4) Fireman124
    5)
    6)
    7)
    8)
    9)
*** Plus at least 20 Camaros from Wisconsin Camaro Club and Badger State Camaro Club

Sure. It just depends on the date. The only problem is this club keeps planning things on dates when I am already registered for something else.

Place, date and other details are still being worked out but we're looking at mid-September and the Kenosha/Racine county area.

Let me know if there is interest.
        I'd certainly be interested!

I paid last year when I attended events. Since there is no events coordinator this year, I was waiting for an events calendar with activities planned before I paid this year. I've gotten screwed before by clubs that I paid, and then they did not have any events.

Now that the year is more than half over, and some events are being planned or announced, I have already RSVP'ed long ago with other clubs most of the time. I was free for Galena this weekend, but apparently the planning on that fell through.

Okay this event is a go. Here's the details I have so far:

Date: Saturday, September 16. 9:00 AM meet at the Jelly Belly warehouse in Pleasant Prairie, WI.

When we are done there, we will all cruise together to Mars Cheese Castle. Figure about an hour or so at each place.

From the cheese castle we'll cruise together and stop at a still undetermined location for lunch. However, it will be at a nice park with grills. Charcoal and grilling tools will be supplied. You just need to bring what you want to eat and drink. Good idea to have a cooler so you can stock up with cheese curds anyway. Also, if you bring anything to pass around that would be nice but isn't required. You might also want to bring your folding chairs as we'll hang out for a bit at the park admiring each others cars and making up stories about how much horsepower each of our cars have.

After lunch, we'll cruise again. At the end of the cruise, we invite those who want to keep the Camaro party going to join us for dinner.

There is no cost for this event. Although your food and location purchases are your responsibility.

This is a CNG/Wisconsin Camaro/Badger State Camaro event. All Camaros are welcome. Hell even those pesky Corvettes are welcome to join.

An update to the cruise. Before dinner we will make a stop at Gateway Classic Cars in Kenosha. They have about a hundred cars in all ages and makes to gawk at. I've updated the last map link in the first thread to include this stop.

                            Time to sign up.

In case you are wondering what the full cruise route looks like. Here it is. We have about 20 or so cars signed up from Wisconsin so far. Will Illinois represent? Hope to see you there.
