  • Lansing Grand River Assembly Tour

    All,

Just wanted to reach out and let you know that I sent an email to GM's Media Contact for Lansing Operations in regards to setting up a tour of the Grand River facility for Chicago Next Gen members.

If I get a positive response from this individual, I will be reaching out to the CNG leadership to try to coordinate time/dates etc. in order to make this happen. I think it would be a cool experience and a great event for us to participate in.

I'll be posting updates as I get them.

They were right up front stating no pictures! we were allowed to take our time going through the plant tour route. It was interesting for me because I'm in Factory automation and love Camaros

So yeah...goose eggs on my end. I have not received a response. I fully expected to hear at least something as I know when I was part of a Cobalt Community we were able to arrange a trip to Lordstown via a similar contact method.

Sorry to disappoint everyone, I'm not really sure what else to do at this point.

All. Finally heard back from GM. They told me that they held an event last year and were not planning to do so again this year.

                    Ahh well. I tried.
