Sorry, I missed your question back when you posted it. We celebrate National Night Out at the Police Department in Round Lake each year. It really is a nice family night out. We get a nice group of cars that come out each year, especially thanks to Chicago 5th Gen members. We give away 350 all beef 1/4 hotdogs, and run out early. This year we are ordering much more, plus we have chips, and water, popcorn, and sno-cones. We always have fire trucks, music, games, Police K-9 demonstrations and some local groups come out to share their wares too. This year we are planning a climbing wall, hay rides, a puppet show and bounce houses for the kids. Please come on out, it really is a nice night out. We will have dash plaques for all cars, trucks, and motorcycles, and a few trophies too.
Actually, we will give a dash plaque to a lawn mower if someone rode in on it, as long as they have fun! That's what its all about!
