4th Annual MDA Benefit Show....June show

Well I'm not gonna make the show tomorrow.

Storm knocked the power out today at work, we closed early and I had to shut down all our routers and servers and crap.
I'm the only geek on site, so I have to go back in tomorrow morning turn everything back on, and since I don't have a key to the place, I gotta wait till 10am to do so.

Stupid mother nature!!!!!
Stupid work!!! I'm pissed!!!!!

I sent in a donation to the show.

Anyone else planning on meeting us at 7:30am at I55 & 47 at the McDonalds.

Registration begins at 9:00am with Judging starting at 12noon.

I would not mind getting there at 9:30 which means we leave around 7:30. How does this sound to everyone?

I recommend taking 47. This is a newly paved road and it is certainly more interesting than the highway.

Below is a map of what I was thinking. We could all meet @ I-55 and Hwy 47. There is a McDonalds on the South East Corner. This would be a good place to meet and nice place to grab a quick breakfast.

We could meet at 7:30am and leave no later than 7:45. From this McDonalds this is a 1:37 min drive. This will get us in at 9:30ish

The show turned out great! I think they ended up with 87 cars total and C5G took home Largest Club Trophy at the event!! The weather was nice and hot all day bringing out a decent crowd. I've got to thank the group that showed up and who ever reccomended the even odds game, it turned into a Participants Choice Award for me :bananen_smilies079:

I'm sorry I bailed out quick, I was starting to get very sick and wanted to run past my friends house that has cancer and say hey with some cars. Then we packed up, unloaded, and went to dinner which I didn't eat and left early due to being sick and in so much pain. I can not wait to come up there to an event and hang out! My son and I had an awesome time! This was very well organized and we enjoyed our time. It was great to spend some time with you and meet your family. We will certainly come back!
