  • GLD track day 10/6/2013 or 10/27/2013

So the weather is starting to get cooler, and we all know i am always down to going to the track.

Thought i would post up a thread to see how much interest there would be for heading to the track within the next few weeks.

SCOTCH MAN and I are already planning on going on 10/27, but just seeing if there would be interest for the 6th as well.

so out of these 2 days which ones work best for most people???? or even both

The 27th works best for me. The 6th is the day of the Lake Geneva Cruise for C5G. Besides, I like the possible better DA of the 27th.

3 tenths is a bit to ask. But if we get a really good DA and I can hook up ---- who knows!

3 tenths is not that much when you really think about it for your setup.

They say every 1 tenth that you can reduce your 60ft... usually doubles off the total time.

so if you can reduce your 60ft time by a total of .15... that would reduce your ET by about 3 tenths.... Now that is a ballpark, but gives you the idea of how important a 60ft can be in determining a pass.

So i would say your goal should be focusing on that 60ft. If you can pull off a 1.53 60ft.. you will be right there.

Yeah I've been waiting for this weather. I have a modified intake manifold to install and then want Jim @ Speed to take a look at the tune.

Not sure on those dates as of yet, but once I'm ready I'll be going out pretty often to run an 11.99 SI and then see how far I can get beyond that.

I'm in for both days. Who knows, if I'm not happy on the 6th, maybe I'll come back with a different setup at the end of the month.
