Over this past Spring and Summer a group of friends, My wife and I have been hosting events to raise money for St. Jude's Children's Research hospital. This is our second year doing this. Last year we raised a combined total of $2,600. To date this year we have raised $4606.76 to date! My goal was to double what we did last year and we are very close to doing just that! I am planning 2 events for the weekend of 8/17, 8/18. The first will be at Reichert Chevrolet/ Buick in Woodstock IL from 9-11am. This will be a Corvette's, Cars and Coffee event with Coffee and Doughnuts provided by Haggerty Insurance. The second will be at ARA Cabinets 4 U in Wheeling IL, again we will be doing the Coffee and Doughnuts but I may also run this one a bit later and grill some burgers and dogs too as a thank you to all who have participated this year! A $5.00 donation is requested at each event with 100% of the proceeds going to St. Judes.
