The 13th Annual Father’s Day Car Show will showcase classic Corvette and Chevy models, along with other street rods, with proceeds to benefit the VA Medical Center
A day of fun, food, prizes, and great classic cars is planned for the upcoming North Shore Corvette Club’s 13th Annual Father’s Day Charity Car Show. This Official Libertyville Days Event will take place on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 16, from 9 am to 2:30 pm at Libertyville Chevrolet, a premier Chevy dealership located at 1001 South Milwaukee Avenue.
The Father’s Day Charity Car Show will feature raffles, door prizes, goodie bags, commemorative dash plaques (while supplies last), great food, a DJ, and a host of vendors. There will also be a food drive benefiting the Libertyville Food Pantry, and anyone who contributes a non-perishable food donation will receive a free raffle ticket.
Of course, there will be cars — hot Corvette models, boss Chevy vehicles, and smoking street rods will be on display, with trophies awarded to the Participant’s Choice, the People’s Choice, and the Dealer’s Choice among the cars on display. Over 75 trophies were awarded at last year’s show.
Those who would like to enter their own classic hot rod in the car show should contact Barb Harms at 847-945-8683. Registration for participants will be from 6:30 am to 10 am on the day of the event.
This will be an event the whole family will enjoy, and hot-rod enthusiasts won’t want to miss this one — there will be plenty of muscle and a lot of chrome on display, with fun, food, and prizes for the whole family, all for the benefit of a most worthy cause. The event will provide attendees with an opportunity to show your support to the military, with proceeds from the car show going directly to the VA Medical Center. The VA Medical Center provides much-needed medical services and support for veterans from all branches of the military who have so admirably stepped up to serve the country.
The North Shore Corvette Club Charity Car Show will be held on June 16th at Libertyville Chevrolet, rain or shine, and it’s a fantastic way to celebrate Father’s Day while supporting a worthy cause. For more information, contact us.
