Hello all,

I would like to invite any and all to attend a drive from my place outside Marengo, Illinois to Lake Lawn Lodge on Lake Delavan,
Wisconsin on Sunday, July 14th. Lake Lawn Lodge will be hosting a car show called The Cars Time Forgot on their grounds this
day (no fee for attendance).

The drive from my place to Wisconsin has become a favorite for multiple car clubs. It runs through the country without a single
stop light to contend with and a string of twisties the likes of which you probably assumed didn't exist in Illinois.

The plan is to meet at my place just off Interstate 90 at Marengo/Hampshire at 7:30am, do brunch at Lake Lawn, check out the cars,
then head back south by way of Lake Geneva.

Here are photos of just a couple of the drives I held from my place last year. Don't be surprised if we are joined by some little foreign
sports cars, as well.

The Lamborghini club already had an event set up for this date. However, I still have a couple friends with Lambos who are hoping to join us. There are four events that date pulling the Lotus crowd different directions, but we will still have a number of them joining us.

Wow just realized the 14th is when the Fiesta Days car show is. I will not be able to partake in these festivities.
