Is anyone thinking about the Camaro Rally in Sturgis SD?
June 27-30th 2013.
We made hotel reservations and are tentatively planning on going.

The host hotel (holiday inn express) is full ,we are booked at the Super 8 across the street. There are several hotels and camp grounds around the area.

I'm making the hike this year. I called up the host hotel a few weeks ago and I scored the last room at the host hotel. It's going to be 800 miles for me each way but I never ventured out to South Dakota before so I want to explore some new land

If you've never been out there before, I highly recommend you drive through the Badlands National Park on the way out or back if you can fit it in. It's right off I-90 before you get to Rapid City. Custer State Park is another nice place to go through once you're there.

I got a air conditioned cabin between the hotel and town for like $40/night.....I wasted money on a hotel when I hardly was in it..... staying wednesday - tuesday... BLACK HILLS BABY!

Ah... okay... I will be there Thurs... staying in a cabin at the campgrounds.. I was planning on leaving late Wed night and driving straight through making an occasional stop or two.. We can touch base later as it gets closer and meet up somewhere there..

If anybody is going to Sturgis I got a suite at the host hotel.I'm thinking about sleeping on the couch ha. I didn't want a big room but I lucked out and got the last room at the hotel.I'm planning on leaving Wednesday. Driving 800 miles in one day will drive me nuts.
