Well, I finally heard back from the track. Good news, if you have a '79 or older vehicle, you can put your car in the show for $50 and get a ticket to the Nationwide race. Bad news is that the group putting together the car show wants to keep it '79 or older. The man that I have been dealing with has been trying to at least make an exception for our club but they won't budge. He did say as it comes closer and maybe if they don't have a lot of cars being registered for the show, they might open it up to newer vehicles, he said if that happens he would let me know. Sorry guys!!Comment

No me either, I suggested that they check out our website and look at what has been done with our cars and how well our club members could promote the Camaro. Yeah, how many 79 and under Camaros run in the Nationwide Series? And if we're not good enough for them now, don't ask us to come when you don't have enough cars.
I wonder if we contacted Chevrolet, if they would want us for something in their area? I know the makers have cars on display at all the tracks. I know Chevy is at Indy. Ford was always at Bristol. Chevy might have cars at Chicagoland. Just a thought. Maybe we just forget it though.sigpic
