    Speed quest dyno drags

    Speed quest is hosting a dyno drag day from 1pm-7pm on March 25th.
    The entrance fee is $10 (if your running) and there will be food and a D.J. so I've been told. I went last month and won 1st place (some of you know) $20 bucks and a free car wash/wash (cash prize is determined on how many people run) at a local car wash that just opened. which is not that bad considering only 14 people ran I think.     Dyno Drags

    It's alot of fun and would be awesome to see the C5G community show up there. The title of the site after I won was "V-8's rock dyno drags" (link: DYNO DRAGS RESULTS FOR 2-17-12) Let's get together and have the next title be "Camaros destroy competition". who's with me?

    Kev, yea, you look thrilled in this last shot. Or are you avoiding getting shot??

    Does the guy on the left in the first pic actually have a tattoo on his face, ala Mike Tyson?

    Kev, this looks dangerous as hell if they are running these cars on the dyno while folks are standing right next to it, behind or in front of it. If a strap breaks, like it did on the 4th gen Camaro, and it actually jumps off of the runners someone is going to get hurt. If I were you I would avoid places like this. You won $20 but could have caused thousands of dollars of damage to your car, you or, heaven forbid, someone else if your car had jumped off and hurt/killed someone. The only one who should be in the drivers seat for dyno pulls is a professional.

    Can you imagine if there was a Friday night crowd around the dyno when this happened?

    The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
    Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
    I can't wait for my Track next fix.

      Yes he has a tattoo on his face but he is cool to hang out with and not the stereotypical thug with a tattoo. I wasn't planning on running just watching because Jared's car did fall off last time and I dont want to risk it with mine. I was mainly asking if anyone wanted to go so we would have a group to show and I wouldn't be the only camaro there.
