but... If we're going for a show thing.. someone might want to let me borrow a better set of shoes for the DarkOrangeHumanWikiBee-SS... The stockers are kinda scratched up from DD and Track use..

Dave and I will take care of the paperwork for you all. I will call them tomorrow and see if it still like last year for club participation. Last year we all needed to turn them in together so that we were parked by each other. Also, you need to know if you are particpating in the club challenge. That means you have to decorate our club section according to the theme of the show. IT IS NOT REQUIRED! You can enter as a club but not enter the club challenge. You need 2 good photos of your car, a lot of the information is in the application. I think that you can download one on their website. Remember, you are responsible for getting your car there and setting it up. You also are responsible for getting your own way of surrounding your car so that no one can touch it. Last year Ted got them for us and the club purchased the chain. If it is your daily driver, you won't have it for 4-5 days, depending on when you pick to set up. I will let you know what I find out tomorrow about the club participation.

How do I know I am registered and how long are we waiting for the uncommitted? I want to be with the group. If I send in now on my own I know I am going to be in. I Don't want to wait to long for those that can't make up their mind and then we all are out. Maybe we should put some date on this. Please advise!

Well, if you're Ok with them being on the car during the show.. That's fine with me..

While this is my DD car, I don't need it during the week and I can easily take CTA to/from the event to the house and work.

I guess I'm in.. We can just work out how best to get my wheels swapped out -- don't know if it can be done there at the show or before?

I've never really done this kind of event before -- so, I apologize in advance for lame questions.

I don't have any pics of my car since I got most of Mike's body parts installed. I'll have to get some taken. When do I need them by and where do I send them?

Also, I'll be driving there -- so, I can detail and dust off, etc? after it's in place?

Yes, you can clean your car after you get it parked at the show. Dave drove ours there last year. In order to be parked with the club, all applications have to be turned in together. If you turn it in by itself, you won't be with the rest of the club. It would be great if we could meet this Saturday night at Tilted Kilt in Chicago Ridge about 6:00. You can then bring us your applications and photos. You also have to list what mods you have done.
