I won't be participating this year as the car will still be in storage and I don't have a way to get it there without driving it. I got lucky last year, although I had to drive through all that casino construction and airborne dirt.

oh that's too bad Kyle, the show will miss you, your car got alot of attention let year. The kids love it as well as the adults. it certainly attracted a lot of attention to our club as a whole.

You should contact the blackhawks and have them pay for transportation! its Chicago and one of the biggest car shows they should want it there. Hell tell them to throw in some ice girls while you are at it.

I trailered mine last year each way for a reasonable price. But he does have a point about throwing in the ice girls!!

You also need to get 2 good pictures of your car. The particpants also need to decide if they are going to particpate in the club challenge. This year is a lot easier than last year, it is rock and roll theme. You do not have to particpate in the club challenge though. You all do need to know that you will be without your car for 3-5 days, whenever you decide to do your set up. Also, last year Ted got the stancions for us free of charge. The club bought the chain but I'm not sure who has it. You HAVE to have this around you car. I'm working more now so I do not know if I can handle all the paperwork like I did last year. I will talk to Dave and see if he can run the paperwork there during his lunch.

not enough mods yet to put mine in the show. i'll be there though. My kid is bugging me to put my Corvette in it . I did this show and Vette fest for 15 yrs and sitting down there for 3 days straight gets a little boring. i will come by to support my team mates though .

Your car would be awesome in the show. We did not have many mods, the biggest thing was Dave relocating the fog lights and custom emblems and he got a plaque. You're right though it is a lot of work and LONG days.

Prefer not to pm. Says here in her earlier post she does not know if she has time and maybe Dave is doing it. Have not seen anyone actually commit to running it as a club event that's why I am asking.
