OK we need to get a few more people coming to show...

I would really like about 15 Camaro's in the show. Only had one in it last year per other C5 site. Who wants to spend the weekend down south a few hours????

The Auto Show for Arthritis (formerly Heart of Illinois Classic Auto & Bike Show) is presented by Peoria Plaza Tire, in conjunction with the Arthritis Foundation and Cops for Kids and sound provided by 3D Sound.

We are currently working out details for the upcoming 2010 Auto Show for Arthritis. Check back often for updates!

Proceeds benefit the nearly 300,000 children under the age of 17 affected by juvenile arthritis. Partnered together with Cops for kids we raised over $12,000 in 2008. Cops for Kids supports "Take a kid to a car show". They are an ongoing program, staffed by volunteers, to present to the children of our neighborhoods, police officers as a positive influence in their lives.

Saturday evening and into the night there is a Mega cruise on Main Street for the owners that dont trailer. The Police department closes a few surruonding streets, yes you have to register for it. For out of towners if you venture out and get lost you only have to get back to the enterstate. It cuts right thur the city and is like 6 blocks from the event. Right across the river (East Peoria) are stores and new hotels, which you can see Murry/Baker bridge and that is the area of the events.
