He's actually spot on. I have skee-low on the headphones (1995), and I rock saddle shoes at work (I am a golf nut). No hurt feelings, they are calling it like it is.

As far as Sunday, I am cautiously optimistic. I know I'll have a good trap speed, but not making any et proclamations. We have seen those back fire on others in the past.

If he had a stall I would be worried but the DarkSS was hand built by god himself on only the holiest of Sundays. The engine was cast from aluminum ore taken from Mt. Olympus, the leather seats are made from minotaur hide and the paint is mixed with tears from angels. If Chuck Norris owned this car it would drive him. The most interesting man in the world longs to own it. It's mere existence is the only reason Magic Johnson is still alive.

Yup, traction will limit his ET....don't be shocked if we both beat him or neck and neck with him.

                  Agree on the traction issue...

Trust me on this one.... If you're still running on the OEM tires, they really don't like the weight + power off the line... Being an auto, there's some advantage there -- but, I was all over the place on times and ET and I still have to make a choice on launching if I want a lower ET or better MPH. This cooler weather isn't going to help with track temps.

Agreed, I think I am only up around 10 hp on Dan, and probably about the same on Mike. We should all be pretty close.

Their web page says that racing starts at 10 am and it's $30.

If anyone up north wants to meet up, here is a spot along 176 and a route to the track.

This is about 1:15 to Byron.

What time is everyone getting there? I have a feeling they may not be ready to roll by 10 as it's 37° there right now.
