  • Cars for a Cause

On Sunday August 21st From 3:30-7:30 a car show is being held to raise money for Jim Smith. Jim Smith is actually the husband of a dog trainer at my dog club. They are very nice people and have spent their entire lives helping others.
Jim was diagnosed with cancer and is not doing well. He lost his job because he is sick and has to go to treatments. After losing his job, he lost his insurance because he cannot afford to pay for it. Please help him and his family through this. You can help by purchasing tickets and attending the car show.
I haven't been a big poster over here, but I read this board almost every day and I know you guys are HUGE supporters of charities and helping people and I think that goes to show how awesome you guys are.
Here is the flyer with the rest of the info and where you can purchase tickets.
And to clarify "The DJ booth" is the Dj Booth at the car shows in DT wheaton on Friday nights. So you can stop by tonight and next week.

It's shown on the attachment. The show is in Wheaton.

Unfortunately I can't make it either... Son's soccer. I do hope it is successful though as it is a great cause.

Is there an address that individuals can send a donation if inclined to do so? I can't make it to the show but I can certainly donate something.

Just want to let everyone know how it went. There was quite a nice turnout. About 40 cars or so. One of chicago wise guys brought his race car out and fired it up for everyone. There was plenty of good food.
I also want to thank Camarogirl for coming out and donating. We really have some good people here
                      Here are some pics
