  • Supercar Saturdays in South Barrington, May 7th

This happens once a month and looks really cool. Kinda like a Cars and Coffee type deal out in Cali.

    Supercar Saturdays

    T.
The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my Track next fix.

I copied the FAQ and posted below

Q: Does my car qualify as a Supercar?
A: Supercar Saturdays welcomes anyone and everyone who shares our enthusiasm for cars. Our goal is to bring together a diverse group of cars including everything from classics and muscle cars to exotics and modified contemporary cars. It’s a car event for car people and cool cars, regardless of price.

Q: What time does Supercar Saturdays begin and end?
A: Supercar Saturday begins at 9:00 am and runs until around 11:00 am. If you will be displaying your car, please plan on rolling in between 8:00 and 8:45 AM.

Q: Where is the event held?
A: Supercar Saturdays is currently in the process of securing a new home in the Chicagoland area for the 2011 season. More information will be posted as it's available.

Q: What happens if it rains?
A: In the event of rain, the event will be held the following week. For a complete schedule, click here

Q: How do I know if the event is being canceled due to potentially bad weather?
A: Simply RSVP to the event to receive email updates

Q: Do I need to RSVP in order to display my car?
A: No, you can display your car even if you haven’t registered. However, registering does provide a greater likelihood of obtaining a preferred parking space, as well as email notification of event changes, weather alerts, and even some free stuff from our sponsors on occasion.

Q: When does RSVP open / close?
A: You will be able to RSVP begining two weeks prior to the event at noon and will remain open until 9 PM two days before the event.

Q: What is the cost of attending Supercar Saturdays?
A: There is no cost to attend, display, or participate in Supercar Saturdays.

    Q: Why are there Sponsors?
A: Like any other event, Supercar Saturdays has costs associated with running it. Sponsors help to cover the cost of things like the website, flyers, and business cards in exchange for us putting their names on the aforementioned items.

I have been to this when it was in glenview naval station two years ago. you will see a large amount of lambs, ferraris, porsches, ect I was there and did not feel that I didn't fit in, I had probably just as much interest in my Camaro by the folks there

if you preregister which is a must, let me know so I can tell them to put are group together

If it rains, then I believe they make it the week later.

I'm here and the cars are amazing! Lots of high end stuff, a good mix of muscle too.
