Cool. I know that everyone won't be into this, but it could be a good time. Plus I am looking to get a good base view on my camaro before I start the upgrades for next year's SCCA

Gingerman and Autobahn are another option also. It would be nice to get these bad boys out on the track.

an autocross event would be cool. I have never done it before, but a buddy of mine says blackhawk is a great venue.

I love autocross, and this would be a safe fun venue for seeing what our babies can do!!

I intend on visiting Autobahn several times this year.

I just looked into this a few weeks ago. One Wednesday a month they have an open track event. Starts at 8am and runs all day includes lunch, a bit of class time and an instructor for a few laps to make sure you understand apex's and how hard you can really push your car. From what I have heard he sits there suggests turn in and braking points and more or less tells you to stand on it the rest of the time. All for about 250 bucks.
I live in S. Beloit about two miles from the track and plan to do it once this year. For those interested we might get a group discount with enough cars. They never said how many I would need to get into those discounts.
