That would be great Ted if you could get enough for us. Another question, are we keeping the cars together as a group? If so, the stanchions have to all be the same. If Ted can get more stands, we will just buy more chain.

If Ted can get the stands, I think the club has no problem picking up the cost of the chains. It seems from the posts so far Marc, Pete and I are already on board with a small expenditure, I will write the check or give the credit card for the chains and the club can reimburse me if the rest of the board agrees. It seems we would need about 350 feet of chain, 60 for each car Approx. I think the cost of that would be about 140-210.

If Ted cant get the stands, everyone check out Stanchions.com, (Equicross Company) out of Florida, I called them and if you order today-tomorrow she said we would have them friday-monday. They are the cheapist I found so far for standard plastic Stanchions. I have a call into a relative to see if I can get some Stanchions as well but if I can get them I know it will only be a few for my own use, and I will just match up with the plastic chain we all may use, I will know tomorrow.

I suggest a meeting on SUNDAY, give me a location and time that is suitable for everyone, I suggest afternnon, ie lunchtime and we can eat lunch there, say around 12 noon.

I am looking at the weather report and I think that may be the big issue for some of us that are more anal. WE ARE GOING TO NEED TRAILERS I THINK! I was hoping not but now Im not so sure.

If stands are still needed and you let me know by the weekend I can fab up some stands with nice bar stock and a welded metal plate on bottom and paint black ,silver? U decide color using stock at my uncles shop. It would be a minimal material cost way cheaper than anything we could buy the stock used would be bought at cost ...

I have good news, my account is going to let me borrow the chrome stantions for the show. They have some events going on that they use them for but I should be able to get 42 of they. I am going there tomorrow to pick them up. Let me know about the so I can order it asap.

That's not good news that is GREAT news!! Thank you Ted. We will need chain if you don't mind ordering some for us. We are still not sure about Sunday? Also, will it make a difference in how much you order if we put the chain around the group of us or around each car individually? Thanks again.

Ted the club owes you a great deal of gratitude for this! The savings is really enormous in being able to use these. Yes, Order the chains PLEASE!! After the show, we will figure out where to store them for next year, let's make sure we get some hooks for this chains to secure them to the stanchions, open s hooks . if you need help please call me, Let me know how you want to handle delivery of them. I think we should have a meeting on Sunday, anybody want to pick a place that's convenient for all involved let's say lunchtime, If I am correct we need aprox seven times Sixty feet of chains, (maximum size of Booth is 10by 20 and i know we put the stanchions closer to the car but its better to have extra, 20 ft each side ten front ten back for each car in case all the cars have no back wall behind them, does that sound correct? what would that cost? each car has to have it's own stanchions around it or people will not be able to get very close to your car to view it and we may have an isle in between us anyway.

I will order 4 rolls of chain because 1 roll should do 2 cars and if we end up not using a roll I can return it. If we can meet Sunday for lunch I can give each one of you your stanchions. I was wondering if we could meet for lunch at the Brickhouse on Butterfield Rd. or somewhere in that area. As for the s-hooks, we won't need them. All you need to do is cut one side of the link and hook it on that way.

How about 12 noon on Sunday. Just so you know the stanchions break down so you can put them in your trunk easily. Hopefully everyone can make it Sunday that is in the WOW.
