I was afraid there would be mostly no's. Its a 2 day drive, but I am going to do my best to make it. I'll provide free tours of ASU to anyone that does make it down...and a pool party at my family's house!

Yes it would be fun to go but it is definetly to far away. Should be more centralized so everybody has a chance to go. Granted,it will never be in a perfect spot for everybody but I think it sure leaves alot of people out that would like to attend.
Some people are talking of having their cars shipped to AZ. than fly out. Thats not happening for me,my pockets are nowhere near that deep to consider something like that.
Also,you will only see my views on this subject posted in here as I do not want to risk a ban on Camaro5 for stating my views on the subject. Mods are getting pi$$y with anyone saying anything negative about this years chosen site.

I was hoping to go but AZ is just too many miles and too much time. It would be a full week with fest and travel time all included.

I actually think its a good thing they are rotating the C5Fest though. This is a big country and I think it actually helps more people to attend. Not necessarily all at once but over time. Kind of like the Olympics moves about so that more people can enjoy going.

I'm looking forward for 2012 when it comes closer to the Midwest.

Looks like Camaro Scotty is working on one. Also there maybe another national Camaro site doing something closer this spring.

I like the idea! IMHO wouldn't want it too close to the C5fest though because our road warrior friends who will be trekking to Arizona might miss out on the local gig.
