9/11 Memorial Car Show in Chicago Ridge

Anyone on the southside planning on going to this show at Tilted Kilt? Looks like rain on Saturday, so I'm thinking it may get pushed to 9/12.

How did that tilted kilt show turn out after all what was the attendance, it was too far to travle on wet streets for me, sometimes I think my car was painted with watercolors,lol

Crappy turn out with alot of pissed off people. The guy who runs it wanted to cancel due to rain. The managers of tilted kilt said no due to the bears game on sunday. Those of us who showed up were asked to stay. Well those who drove early and in the rain had now dirty undercarriges. Alot of us who were sitting in the rain lost 1 full point for dirty undercarrige from rain spots. Those who arrived late had an advantage from non wet roads. Alot of us complained but went on deaf ears.

I know next time to bring my floor jack or dont go at all if its raining.

Wow. I've only been to one show where they looked under the car. Intense.

That's BS man! You guys got shafted on that. Why the hell did they have a rain date posted on their flyer if they knew the Bears game was on Sunday anyway? I drove past 95th at around 2:30ish and saw that there was not as many cars as the kilt has had before at their shows.
