Just to let everyone know, our car will be in the shop again to try to fix the clutch problem in about 2 weeks. The bosses have to come back from vacation. They are going to start with the brake fluid and if it is contaminated, they are going to do what the bulletins say to do to try to fix the problem. Don't know how long this will take but it doesn't sound good. They are still not sure how to fix the problem though.

      What issue were you having.

I just remember the horrible issues I had with mine in the GTO. I just hope I dont have them with the SS.

The clutch sticks to the floor. We have alsready had the clutch, flywheel, slave cylinder all replaced. It happens in normal everyday driving. I think your going to Tilted Kilt on Sunday, we will see you there.

Crap.......When the Chevy QA team follows up with me I will have to ask about this again. I know the regional rep is Tony and he has this entire area.

GM is not even coming out to look at the car. They are telling the dealership just satisfy the customer. Do whatever it takes to fix it but they are not sure what to do. But we found out yesterday that the only techs we will let work on it are also going on vacation next month so they might not get to look at it until Sept. GM already wants the car back, but Dave said no way we want it fixed. We have too early of a production number to let that happen.

Sorry I didn't come back and update here.....I picked up my car yesterday and WOW what a difference.

Let me quote the service order....my complaint was the clutch pedal was sticking to the floor, here's what the tech wrote up :

Roadtest veh numerous times to duplicate concern, found after veh hot and releasing clutch hard, pedal feel gets very weak and low. Call TAN Case # 71 advised clutch pressure plate issue. Per TAN replaced failed, weak clutch pressure plate assembly and bleed clutch.

Keep in mind the car had longtubes, CAI, SLP Loudmouth II and a Barton short throw shifter. No issues with the repair claim.

The pedal is nice and firm now, and I was able to rip through the gears without any drama!

                    BTW, what's your vin # mines a R6P car with a vin of 12335
