I went and took the factory tour today of the Air Stream Factory in Jackson Ohio. 297 miles and a short four hour drive. If you ever are close to Jackson Center Ohio, I strongly encourage you to plan ahead and schedule to take the tour. Its pretty cool to see how they still HAND make these beasts from the ground up and I mean HAND made. Amazing. You get to see every part of its painstaking hand assembly. It takes three days to make a classic air stream and if you order one, you can go see it being built. One couple in the tour with us did just that and got to see theirs half completed and take photos on the line. How cool..
