  • Paint question

Hey guys, I've got a question for ya- Got some paint work done on my Monte- and there are swirls in the clear from the color sanding/buffing - is that normal? Never seen it on any other vehicle I've had paint work done on. Shop guy says it really needs a coat of wax (after paint/clear cures) to get rid of them?

wax would definatly help, but all it means is that they didnt do a good job buffing it.... i would take it to a different shop and have them just try and buff it out a little bit before you go pay the same place. i had it happen on my last car, it just means they were a little lazy when it came to the buff job. but nothing that cant be fixed

Sounds like a buff job will take care of the situation.
