  • Car Cover

My son just brought his car home last night. The outdoor cover he has doesn't really protect against dirt/dust. He likes to cover it all the time so it will be used a lot. Can anyone here recommend a good cover? Thanks!!

Chevy makes a cover just for the 5th gen Camaro's, we love ours!

      Car Cover

Covercraft car covers. Go to their website and pick the fabric that fits your needs. Some are more specifically designed for indoor use, outdoor, rain, UV, dust, price range etc.

Takes about a few weeks to get delivery because their covers are custom made to order. They will perfectly fit your mirrors and antenna.

The best car covers under the sun since 1965. All weather protection you need.

The OEM version has a nice tight fit... a pain in the ass to take on and off because of that but since I only cover it up in the winter, I don't mind the extra work. I got mine used for 1/2 off the MSRP which made my wallet (aka wife) smile.

He doesn't care how hard it is to put on or take off as long as it keeps the dust/dirt off. The cover he has is horrible. After the rain we had this weekend he had dirt all over it when he took the cover off last night before he went for a ride.

There's going to be a fine line between breathability and dust getting through... good luck!

I've always heard that a car should be clean and dust free before a cover goes on, or you may scratch the paint as the cover shifts with the wind.

Will that be an issue for him?

Car is always clean before the cover goes on.

Go to ebay and search for 2010 or 2011 SLP Camaro car cover. They have really high end covers listed right now for $99. They will have a couple different ZL### names on the very front which is why they are selling them I think. I have been using mine since spring of 2011 and it is in great shape and keeps the dust out. You can use it inside or outside. I know it will fit all model years up to 2016.
