I drive year round and it's only possible (and actually pleasant) with REAL winter tires.
Makes all the difference. Never got stuck. Drove through Blizzard with 6 inches on the ground in a LOWERED 2010.
18" 225 -60 snowtires makes all the difference.
Saw scores of trucks and SUVs in ditches though!
When my 2016 comes in a few weeks from now I will first get some winter shoes for it!

Oh BTW, there is no rust on the body after 5 winters.
Despite thin paint, they do a good job with treating the body prior to paint.

I find that winter driving in snow in my Camaro, with snow tires of course, is the most exciting and energetic driving I do all year. I actually look forward to the snow. I do suggest that if you drive your camaro in the winter, make the investment in snows. You'll then understand what I'm talking about.

I daily drive mine and runs almost 10.9's in the 1/4. But I don't drive it when it's real snowy out.

I drive in the City every day.

          Door dings and all.

I leave my Pzero Pirelis on all winter. I don't have any trouble with he way the car handles. it's like they don't even know there is snow on the ground. I don't have any problems with her sliding around, she really holds her ground well.

Mine is also a daily drive. My first winter I did purchase winter tires. It drives real well in the snow. I wish I could leave my car in the garage in the winter, but I don't have that option.
Today I did put the winters on. The weather is starting to get too cold for the summer tires.
