I drive year round and it's only possible (and actually pleasant) with REAL winter tires.
Makes all the difference. Never got stuck. Drove through Blizzard with 6 inches on the ground in a LOWERED 2010.
18" 225 -60 snowtires makes all the difference.
Saw scores of trucks and SUVs in ditches though!
When my 2016 comes in a few weeks from now I will first get some winter shoes for it!
Oh BTW, there is no rust on the body after 5 winters.
Despite thin paint, they do a good job with treating the body prior to paint.
