  • My poor car

Yesterday while driving to work down 41 in the left lane and a jeep turned right from Rte 60 onto 41 when they had a red light and they thought it would be great idea to go straight into the left lane instead of the staying in the right then switch to the left lane... And my 9 month old Camaro smacked her in the ass. We pulled off to the side and she step out of the car and started to say "are you kidding me? Why did you hit me?!" Needles to say I lost it and screamed at her saying "YOU STUPID F**KING B*TCH, I'VE HAD MY CAR NINE MONTHS, YOU STUPID F**KING B*TCH! YOU PULLED OUT IN FRONT OF ME! YOU STUPID F**KING B*TCH!" She then went to get her information while I called for a cop, then got mad when I wouldn't swap information with her because I was on the phone with emergency responders and I was waiting for the cops. She then had the nerve to asked me why I was driving through there so fast because I must have been driving 70 mph to show up out of nowhere. I said I was driving the "F"ing speed limit which is 45! Then I asked(more like yelled) why she would pull out on a red light and go directly into the left lane where I was driving?" She said she didn't see me. I proceeded to yell at her asking how she didn't see the camaro that had its horn honking and tires screeching in the left lane she had no business in and call her a dumb "F"ing b*tch again. And got back into my car and just started to cry I was so mad and my anxiety had boiled over. The cop showed up she immediately jumped out her car to tell him my wrong doing...haha! He then came to ask me what happened I tried to explain through my crying as I was now having a full anxiety attack and shaking as if I was in -20 weather. He wrote her a ticket and I'm going to get a summons to go to court. I will be there and make sure she pays! Thank God for insurance too. Still pissed about my baby!

Sorry to hear about your misfortune.
It seems when I drive my everyday vehicle (Toyota Tundra)
I never have a problem but soon as I get behind the wheel of my Camaro it atracks all the idiots.

My husband's Tundra was totaled in April when a cop hit him on 41.

Sorry to see this yes best to remain calm but I understand completely.

I've been thinking about a dashcam too... but I don't drive all that much since I take the metra.

Was the cop nice at least about the Tundra one?
                  :-/

The cop that hit my husband was pretty messed up. All his airbags deployed.. The ones in his steering wheel and the ones by his legs... He hit my husband who was stopped in traffic at 55mph... He didn't say much.

My husband is the calm one... I lost my sh*t on the woman I hit. Then my anxiety got the better of me and I started having a full blown anxiety/panic attack.
I'm still mad at that woman. It's women like her that give women a bad driver reputation. I am a damn fine driver. All accidents I have ever been in haven't been my fault and I've had no way to avoid them. I've had many other close calls but I have been able to maneuver around the idiots.

I wonder if he was looking at his computer running your husbands plate when he didn't notice he had stopped in front of him.

No my husband saw him coming from far back he thought he was going to stop then realized too late that the cop wasn't slowing down.

We still don't know wth the cop was doing when he hit my husband.. One thing is for sure. He wasn't paying attention.

                            2 words - dash cam

No arguing needed. Video evidence is 100% factual
