Seat Recall

Has anyone done the recall for the power seats? Just wondering what's involved.

GM #:*2014271POWER HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE DRIVER AND PASSENGER FRONT SEATS

2011 been getting the message thru the On star monthly diagnostic and in the mail.

Yes. I had it changed out last Friday actually. I watched them the entire time. Basically they remove the power seat panel and change out the bolts on the left side of the seat and put the panel back on. Your seat will be out of its normal position because it has to be fully forward and up to access the bolts. Only took about 20 minutes or so to change.

Thanks was wondering how they did it. Hope they don't try to mess with my key when I go in. LOL!

Make sure you tell them not to change your key and that you do not want to comply with that recall.
