Quality Hand Car Washes, Not in your Driveway !

I hit upon a good car wash this week Downtown Chicago so I figured I would start a Post and list of good hand car washes.

Gold Coast Car Wash 875 north Orleans st., Chicago, Il. 312-988-9524 Was in and out in 30 min. With the caddy, as I look over they are detailing a 300,000 rolls Royce and a 150,000 Porsche so I figure they must be decent. Did a good job on my black Caddy, $19.00 exterior and door jams. They open at 7:00 during the week !

In NWI, Uptown car wash in Valparaiso is very good. $15 for hand wash. Did a great clay bar for my daughters Mustang

Only issue with Sudsational in Addison is how long they take. I used to live in the city and go to a hand wash twice a week. They are efficient downtown and they are not in Addison. Plan on being there ~30 minutes when you go...unacceptable in my book and I have more experience than most with hand washes! Too bad there aren't more options in West Chicagoland...

Thanks for the tip. I'm in Plainfield too and didn't know we had a true "hand wash" down there. Couple good machine places on 59 but I didn't realize this was there. Thanks!
