Event Committee

Hi All... We have had no interest brought forth for a new event coordinator. With that said, I would like to know if anyone out there would be interested in joining a C5G event committee? I would meet with the group once a month, before our board meeting. The committee could and would make the suggestions for upcoming events and locations. As a group, we would then take roles/responsibilities in getting the events planned through their completion. You have a chance to make a real difference in what we do as a club. Show or go, the committee would plan the events. I will then take all of the ideas back to the monthly board meetings for a final look and financial backing where needed. The committee meeting will take place in a central location... Restaurant, bar, or wherever.

Please submit your interest by posting a reply to this thread. We would like to get this committee started in January, but I would like to get some idea of the interest level beforehand.

I think this is a great idea even if there's an event coordinator. The more people involved sharing ideas, the better results. If I lived close enough to participate effectively, I certainly would. Hopefully we'll have a good mix of "Show and Go" individuals come forward and volunteer.

Come on folks... This is your club we are talking about. Surely some of you have a couple of hours a month? I already give up plenty of my time, and am still willing to run this thing. Let's get crackle Acking. I know the holiday's are upon us, but I am not planning on holding the first meeting until mid to end of January. Thanks.
