It does definitely happen, Dave bumped it lightly with his knee and it shut everything down, our G6 that still has no recall, a gentle pull on the ring and it shuts down. We obviously got our key, not to crazy about using a key to open the door, but you can use the remote, I was just curious.

It only seems possible when your legs are the right length, and, both the seat, and, the steering wheel are at the right position.

It's physically impossible for me to do it with everything set up the way I like it, so, I will not comply with the recall.

      YMMV

Interesting tidbit - apparently the GM folks never put the switchblade key in the SUV's and trucks because of this very issue. (obviously more likely that it could happen in an SUV or truck)

            Never had any complaints, so...

The ponies were delivered already. You don't get two.

If you are coming to the show on Sunday in the Heights, Dave has our key and can show you what happens when you use it. Kind of a pain. Hope to see more signing up for Sunday!

Well not sure if this is the reason for the recall. But my ignition is loose. I have had the car quickly turn off then back on real quick on me while driving... and the other day when I took my key out, it kept making the dinging noise like my key was still in the ignition. So i had to put the key back in and wiggle it until it went off. I guess the new motor mounts vibrate a little too much haha.

sent from my Note 3 using Tapatalk... that eoukd explain any errora
